En la ciudad citada casó con doña Francisca Zapata Gómez (hija del Maestre de campo D. Antonio Zapata y de su mujer doña Ana María de Toro), y tuvieron los siguientes hijos: Gertrudis, que casó primero con Ignacio de Castañeda, y después con Pedro del Mazo; Margarita, mujer de Toribio del Mazo; Nicolás, marido de Gregoria Jaramillo; María, monja; Domingo, que murió soltero; Francisco, Rosa, Antonio Isabel y Andrés, de los que se ignora su estado.
