Noblesse vellave, possessioné au Bouchet dès le milieu du XVIème siècle. Il est fait mention de cette maison dans plusieurs titres et ouvrages publics. Noble Jean en qualité de signeur dudit lieu, signe un acte de 1550. Nobles Guyot et Claude de Badiou vivaient en 1551 et 1610. On rencontre sous ce nom: Catherine d'Albarici veuve en 1621 de Claude de Badiou, épousa en secondes noces Robert Gay seigneur de la Blache et de Planhol et testa le 3 février 1649. Cette famille semble disparaître vers la fin du XVIIème siècle. Cette ancienne famille qui a joué un rôle prépondérant dans l'histoire de la noblesse française, a fourni une foule de personnages illustres dès le XIIème siècle. Il est fort difficile, pour ne pas dire impossible, de réunir en faisceau toutes les tiges éparses de cette maison.
