Famiglia originaria di Chiari. Con R.D. il 28 dicembre 1928 venne concesso il titolo di conte a Lodovico, figlio di Francesco (n. 1835, m. 1908) e di Angelica Bellini. Lodovico, gr. uff. della Corona d'Italia e cav. della Legion d'Onore, sposò in Chiari il 2 dicembre 1895 Lucrezia dei conti Faglia vedova Fenaroli (n. 16 novembre 1873) dalla quale ebbe: 1) Angelica, nata 17 gennaio 1903; 2) Francesco, nato 31 dicembre 1904, noto aviatore, al quale con R. D. 8 aprile 1928 venne concesso di aggiungere al proprio il cognome materno Faglia, per estinzione di linea. Altro ramo. Per insigni benemerenze verso la Repubblica Veneta, il Senato, con Decreto del 18 marzo e 4 maggio 1741, decorava Gio. Battista Faglia con tutta la discendenza del titolo di Conte e gli concedeva il feudo Nobile e Giurisdizionale di Terrazzo nel territorio Veronese iscrivendolo il 13 maggio stesso nel A.L.T. coi fratelli
