Alte und sehr edle emilianische Familie mit Wohnsitz in Genua, die zu Beginn des zehnten 8. Jahrhunderts den Nachnamen Barillari um den Namen der Salvaterra, der Adelsfamilie von Comacchio, die vom Herzog von Mantua Ferdinando Carlo mit dem Titel "Comital" ausgezeichnet worden war, in wie ausgestorben es ist. Das in Comacchio angesiedelte Haus zeichnete sich besonders durch den Ritter Gaspare Barillari Salvaterra aus, der am 31. März 1796 die Position des ersten Ältesten der Gemeinde Comacchio in Besitz nahm. Von Domenico Cinzio aus Fulvio, geboren 1721, zweiter Ältester der Gemeinde Comacchio in 1752 stieg Giuseppe von Cesare ab, General der italienischen Armee. Der jetzt in Brasilien lebende Familienzweig stammt genau von dem von Comacchio ab. Hier ist eine kurze Genealogie. Von Francesco B., verheiratet mit Pellegrina Saratelli, abstammend: 1) Gaspare Barillari (geb. 14-12-1849 in Comacchio) und seine Kinder: Pellegrina Barillari (Nr. 25-09-1875 in Migliaro), Turinga Barillari (n 20-10-1878 in Migliaro),
