Descendentes dos condes de S. Fenzo di Legnaro, ostentam um Nizolio como capitão das milícias de Paduan em 820. Eles foram atribuídos à nobreza em 1420. De uma bibliografia antiga impressa em Florença pela tipografia Murate em 1866, intitulada "Livro dos nobres venezianos, agora pela primeira vez destacados", como revelado pelo trabalho mencionado, a família é originalmente de Veneto.
