Es stammt ursprünglich aus dem gleichnamigen Schloss von Bazzano an der Grenze zu Bologna und ist in mehrere Zweige unterteilt, die über die oben genannten Länder verstreut sind. Das von Modena wurde 1306 in adeligen und mächtigen Familien betrachtet, und von ihm aus war Virgina, ein berühmter Dichter des achtzehnten Jahrhunderts, verheiratet mit einem Cavazzoni, und ein Giovanni, ein im vierzehnten Jahrhundert lebender Chronist, ging voraus. Zu dem von Montefestino gehörte Dr. Pellegrino, Podestà von Sassuolo im Jahre 1694 und dann Governat. del Frignano im Jahr 1704. Ercole Dottore und Archpriest stammten im 16. Jahrhundert von der Vignola-Niederlassung zu zwei Gouverneuren der Stadt ab. Anderer Zweig. Ursprünglich aus Bazzano in der Region Bologna. Matteo insigne Doktor der Medizin und Philosophie, der in der ersten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts starb, war der letzte seines Hauses. Anderer Zweig.
