Paolo Consigliere della patria ne' 1217. Raniero, detto Rossetto, insieme ad Ottina chiamata Signora, e moglie di Robaldo della stessa famiglia vendè nel 1264 parte del castello di Calosso al Comune di Asti. Giovanni nell'anno successivo fece acquisto dai marchesi di Busca del castello della Rocchetta, che poi Oberto suo figliuolo vendette nel 1280 allo stesso Comune. Roberto, Rosso, Bultrano e Giacomo furono consiglieri della patria nel 1276. Roberto e Nicolino, di parte ghibellina ed animosi guerrieri ebbero le proprie case distrutte dai Solari, della parte avversaria, nel 1310, perchè a nome di quelli del Castello, tenevano il castello di Masio, nè vollero rimetterlo al Comune di Asti, conforme di capitoli della pace stabilita poc'anzi tra le parti di quella città per opera del Conte Amedeo di Savoja.
