Alte Familie aus der Lombardei mit Wohnsitz in der Stadt Bergamo. Einige Familienmitglieder wurden mit dem Grafentitel ausgezeichnet. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte zogen gleichnamige Familien derselben in verschiedene Regionen Italiens, von denen sie den Adel erwarben und dort in den wichtigen Ämtern der Stadt, in der sie lebten, begrüßt wurden, eine von ihnen hatte als Waffe: Spaccato; im ersten von Gold bis zum schwarzen Adler; im zweiten Interzato in Palo aus Schwarz, Rot und Gold. Dieser Familie gehörte der Grafentitel, ein Titel, den die Kaiser denen verliehen, die an ihrer Seite standen. Aus diesen Grafen wurden diejenigen ausgewählt, die dazu bestimmt waren, die Ämter des königlichen Palastes zu beaufsichtigen, und andere wurden entsandt, um die Provinzen des Reiches zu regieren und die Grenzen zu bewachen. Dann gab es noch andere Zählungen, die den oben erwähnten Ämtern fremd waren, wie zum Beispiel jene, die der Ernährung und dem Handel zugeordnet waren;
