As memórias da família remontam à primeira metade do século XIV, e sabemos de um Giacomino (1320) que foi homenageado por Azzone Visconti com honras bélicas por testes valiosos no assalto às muralhas de Brescia à frente de uma companhia de homens reunidos na costa de Salò. Foi nessa costa que eles estabeleceram sua residência definitiva no século XV, expandindo consideravelmente suas propriedades nos séculos posteriores. Inquartato; nel 1° e nel 4° spaccato d'oro e di nero, ad un ippogrifo dell'uno nell'altro, linguato di rosso, impugnante una spada d'argento; nel 2° e nel 3° d'azzurro, alla sbarra d'oro accompagnata da due stelle di sei raggi dello stesso. Sul tutto di rosso, al monte di tre cime di verde, movente dalla punta cimato da una colomba d'argento, tenente nel becco un ramo di bettonica di verde.
