Il castello di Loncis in Baviera diede il nome all'antica dei Loncisi famiglia stabilitasi in Verona nel secolo undecimo. Tra essi leggesi Antonio Barone di Loncis e Londem, Camerier d'onore dell'Imp. Enrico II, dal quale nel 1014 fu creato Signore del castello di Lazise, con diritto di sangue, e Governatore del Benaco, o Lago di Garda. Questi, non bevendo vino, fu detto Bevilacqua di Loncis, e poi dal luogo della sua giurisdizione fu chiamato Lazise, come si nominano ancora i suoi discendenti. Altripace Lazise fu comandante delle guardie imperiali di Federico Barbarossa, che andava all'acquisto di Terra Santa, ed ebbe lo stemma fregiato della testa d'aquila coronata, che portano ancora i suoi posteri. Il suddetto Pace od Altripace fu come un secondo capo delle famiglie B. L., le quali diedero Cavalieri, Giusdicenti, Conti, Ambasciatori, ed altri uomini celebri in lettere ed armi, onorati di magistrature distinte in patria ed altrove.
