Obradich-Bevilaqua, (Taf. 42.) Altes, slavisches, ausgestorbenes Geschlecht der Inseln Lesina und Curzola, dessen Name auch: ,Obradich-Bevilaqua" geschrieben ist. Johann Obradich-Bevilacqua, der vorletzte Sprosse mannlichen Geschlechtes, war wohl der berühmteste seines Namens. Derselbezeichnete sich ganz besonders im Dienste der venetianischen Republik aus und kommandirte namentlich siegreich ein Geschwader von Barken gegen die Corsaren von Narenta bei einem von diesen, gegen Spalato, unternommenen Ueberfalle, für welche That ihn der Doge Domenico Contarini, de dato Venedig, am 16. März 1660, zum "Ritter von San Marco," mit allen Vorrechten dieses Titels, schlug. Derselbe hinterliess nur einen Sohn Johann. welcher Vater dreier Töchter gew-sen ist und zwar 1) Girolama, vermählt mit dem Nobile Giovanni Garagnin in Traú; 2) Maria, vermählt mit dem Nobile Giambattista Cattinelli in Parenzo; 3) Antonia, vermählt mit dem Nobile Pietro Angelini in Lesina. In B. ein freistehender S. Springbrunnen, welcher aus seiner Mitte aufwärts nach zwei Seiten hin im Bogen je einen dicken Wasserstrahl in das auf einem Fussgestell ruhende Becken herabfallen lässt. Den Schild deckt die Krone der Nobili. Devise: SEMPER. RIGATA. CRESCUNT.
