Famiglia di Padova, che molto si arricchì nel commercio di panni che anche fabbricava. Fu ascritta nel 1787 al Consiglio di Padova nelle persone di Stefano e Giovanni, fratelli, i quali avendo avuto dal Veneto Senato la donazione di parte del Castello di Sesto al Reghena nel Friuli era detenuta dal Fisco, ne furono investiti col titolo marchionale, acquistando così voce nel parlamento friulano. Fu confermata nobile con S.R. 9 dicembre 1819. La famiglia è iscritta nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobiliare Italiano del 1933 coi titoli di Nobile dei Marchesi di Sesto (pers.), Nobile (pers.) Nobiltà di Padova, in persona di: Caterina, di Stefano, di Stefano, di Antonio. Altro ramo. Originaria di Roma, appartenne alle più antiche famiglie patrizie milanesi. Ebbe la contea di Saronno nel 1525, e fu insignita del titolo di marchesi del S.R. Impero nel 1623. Andrea Conte Palatino, Protonot. Apost. e Senatore ducale. Diversi furono decurioni della patria;
