Famiglia ascritta al patriziato sammarinese, la quale ebbe nella persona di Luigi Rocco di Costantino concessione dalla Repubblica di S. Marino con diploma 6 agosto 1874 del titolo, trasmissibile (mpr.), di Conte di Castellaro e dell'inquarto dello stemma di quello Stato; nel qual diploma originale è dipinta l'arma del concessionario come qui innanzi è descritta e disegnata, benché in essa si vedano elementi blasonici, oltre anche il cimiero gattesco, che alludono con qualche lieve inesattezza alle famiglie Fieschi e Bianchi di Lavagna, dalle quali non è stata finora accertata la provenienza di questa famiglia. Al medesimo Luigi Rocco fu concesso dal re d'Italia con lettere patenti (13 aprile 1879) il titolo, trasmissibile (mpr.), di Marchese sul cognome, cui più tardi (25 febbraio 1886) fu attaccato il predicato di Castelbianco della Torre.
