Decorado por la Familia Real en 1590, el señor feudal desde 1690, otorgó el título de marqués de Montrone desde 1790, agregado al patricio de la ciudad de Bari en 1791, pasó por justicia al Ord. de Malta en 1796, y adscrito en 1804 al Registro de familias patricias pertenecientes a las Plazas de las ciudades de Napolitano declaradas Cerradas. Es reconocido por los decretos ministeriales 1808 y 1899 en la posesión legal del mencionado título de Marqués de Montrone de los siguientes títulos heredados de la ilustre familia de Capua Sanseverino. Por la inscripción obtenida en la lista regional napolitana y por los premios antes mencionados, la hija mayor Teresa, de Luigi, de Giordano (esposa de Giuseppe Procaccini, Sr. de Montescaglioso) tiene directamente los títulos de Marqués de Montrone (pr.), Sr. . de Raiano (pr.), y del barón de Amberes, Villalago, Campo di Giove, Canzano, Roggiano, S. Caterina, S.
