Noble creado en la persona de Giovanni Bernardino, doctor de Carlo Emanuele II, con licencia el 6 de octubre de 1658. Su sobrino, el abogado Paolo (1646-1708), era el auditor del Príncipe de Carignano, intendente de Don Gabriele di Savoia y secretario civil del Senado. .
