Ancienne famille notariale d'Annonay, dont le premier membre connu est Pierre, greffier et notaire. Christophe, docteur és droits, fut châtelain de Quintenas et juge d'Ay, Seray et Mahun. Marguerite épousa noble Jacques Le More, sieur de Lotoire en la paroisse de Quintenas, conseiller du roi, régent de l'Université de Valence et juge général de la Comté de Velay, elle se remaria le 7 février 1656 avec noble Jean d'Aletz, avocat en parlement. Le dernier du nom fut Antoine, fils de Claude et de Marguerite de Colomb, décédé à Annonay le 22 avril 1651. Une autre branche de cette famille habitait à Satillieu et l'héritière de cette famille en porta les biens à son mari François d'Indy du Molinot.
