Ancienne et noble famille portugaise, de vertu claire et ancestrale, qui s'est répandue, au cours des siècles, dans le monde entier, en particulier au Brésil. Selon ce qui a été transmis, le fondateur de la famille est un Rodrigo Anes, chevalier portugais de Santarém, qui s'est rendu célèbre en France au service du roi Philippe Auguste II, qui l'a envoyé pour défendre la ville de Bourges.
