Noblesse chevaleresque, maintenue le 17 fév. 1668, sur preuves remontant à noble Loys, écuyer, seigneur dudit lieu en pays de Velay vivant dès 1450. Pierre est qualifié seigneur de Meyssignac (1558). Charles seigneur de la Durerière alias Dorlière, capitaine de cinquante lances des ordonnances du roi, épusa le 5 fév. 1570, damoiselle Renée de Montel, dame de Poulargues et d'Eyssac, près Arlanc. Ils eurent: François, seigneur de Poulargues et d'Eyssac, de la Durerière, St-Just, Rabundes, etc., gendarme en 1617 des ordonnances de sa Majesté. Deux commissaires ordinaires et provinciaux de l'artillerie au gouvernement de Lyonnais, l'un tué au siège de trèves (1630-1632). Éteinte au XVIIIème siècle par les deux filles de françois et de Claudette de la Chassaigne de Sereys, dans les de Goys de Fougerolles (1723) et les de la Roque-Séverac.
