Der österreichische Kaiser Franz Joseph mit einem am 11. Februar 1882 in Wien verliehenen Diplom verlieh Dr. Guglielmo B. Fedrigotti di Belmonte, geboren 1823 in Avio, und seine legitimen Nachkommen beiderlei Geschlechts, der Titel eines Barons und die Verwendung eines bestimmten Wappens. Er erhielt die Anerkennung dieses Titels durch DP 31. Juli 1926: Nicolò Maria, n. Borgo Sacco (Trento), 27. Dezember 1870, von Guglielmo und Giovanna di Klebelsberg, verheiratet S. Margherita (Trento), 12. August 1908 mit Irma Gumppenberg, aus der: Nicolaia Maria, geb. Innsbruck, 13. April 1910. Es war der Brauch der ältesten Familien, die nach dem Fall des Römischen Reiches in dieser Flut der Barbaren, Wenn ihre Nachnamen sowie ihre Studien und andere schöne Dinge verloren gehen und nur mit einfachen Namen zurückbleiben, ziehen sie ihre Nachnamen und ihre Familie wieder aus den väterlichen Eigennamen und den wichtigsten.
