Questa famiglia hebbe origine da Parma, laqual venne ad habitar in Padova l'anno del Signore 1307. Albertino fù Capitano di Francesco da Carrara, e fù mandato alla custodia di Belvedere nel Territorio di Bassano. 1380. Bernardo fù da Vinitiani mandato Ambasciado re à Sigismondo Duca d'Austria. 1482. Francesco, e Nicolo furono Dottori di leggi. Albertino 2. è Dottor delle Arti, e lettor in questo studio. Antonio è Dottor de leggi. Altro ramo. Famiglia di antica e nobile tradizione, originaria della Romagna. Il commendator G.B. di Crollalanza riporta la blasonatura di questa famiglia nei volumi del suo Dizionario storico blasonico delle famiglie nobili e notabili italiane. Altro ramo. Vennero ascritti al nobile Consiglio il 13 Dicembre del 1626, e confermati nella nobiltà nel 1820. Altro ramo. Antica e nobile famiglia originaria di Padova detta Boton o Bottoni.
