We rarely meet the name of Bouveron and still we find it under different spellings. We can therefore only cite a few notes of no genealogical value. Bouveyron Revue du Vivarais 1899, p.509: "April 11, 1641. Marriage contract: The said contract was made and recited to Peyron, mayson of the aforesaid Sieurs de Baronnat, la Mure and Saint-Gervais: Present Messire Pierre royer, parish priest of Quintenas , noble Antoyne Bollioud, sieur du regard, of Bourg-Argental, honorable Bernardin Guigon, of Saint-Julien, customs clerk, and François Bouveyrond, living in said Peyron. " Le Peyron is an estate or castle in the town of Quintenas. We still find the name of Boveyron in a sale dated March 12, 1538, where the heirs of Alinos Boveyrone are mentioned. (Revue du Vivarais 1898, p.171). On December 6, 1768, Sieur Bouveron, signs as a witness at the wedding of Sieur Pierre Blanc, bourgeois, son of Sieur Pierre and of Miss Alexandrine Roux; and demoiselle Marie Bouvier, daughter of sieur Louis Bouvier, merchant and of demoiselle Suzanne tavernol.
