Questa famiglia, originaria di Pisa, venne a stabilirsi in Firenze ove nel 1392 trovasi rappresentata da Tommaso console dei giudici e notai. Ebbe 5 priori della repubblica e un prelato, Antonio di Zanobi, eletto nel 1543 vescovo di Tolone. Assunse anche il cognome e lo stemma Cambini in seguito al testamento 28 luglio 1611 di Diamante Cambini, ultima di sua famiglia. Vestì l'abito di S. Stefano di Toscana; fu descritta nel libro d'oro dei patrizi di Firenze nel 1751 e in quello dei patrizi di Pisa nel 1754. a) Discendenti da Napoleone, Cesare e Alessandro di Carlo, Vincenzo. b) Discendenti da Antonio, Bonaventura, Faustino, Vitale e Francesco di Nemesio Uberto.
