Antica e nobile famiglia, originaria di Udine, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni d'Italia. Appartenendo, tal casato, all'Ordine nobile, della detta città, a cui fu aggregato nel 1778, ottenne la conferma della sua nobiltà con Sovrana Risoluzione 24 novembre 1820, in persona di: Giovanni Pietro Antonio, del fu Tommaso e della nobil sig.ra Alessandra Fabris, nato il 9 giugno 1751; Bartolomeo Giuseppe, del fu Tommaso, nato il 21 luglio 1755; Giuseppe Antonio, del fu Tommaso, nato il 17 lglio 1758, sacerdote; Sebastiano Giovanni, del fu Tommaso, nato il 14 dicembre 1766, sacerdote. Altro ramo. Antica ed illustre famiglia piemontese, originaria delle Gravere di Susa.
