Ancient family of Castelfiorentino, already admitted to the Florentine citizenship, ascribed to the nobility of Modigliana in the person of the lawyer Lorenzo, dott. Giuseppe and Dr. Tommaso, sons of Paolo, with the rewritten January 2nd 1840, and to the nobility of Florence with the rewritten 1st May of the same year. a) Descendants of Paul, of Thomas, of Paul. b) Descendants of Raimondo and Giorgio di Giuseppe, of Paolo. c) Descendants of Eugenio, Domizio and Enrico di Lorenzo, of Paolo. The bibliography of this family is mentioned by the Marquis Vittorio Spreti, in his Italian Historical-Noble Encyclopedia printed in Milan in 1936.
