Antica ed assai nobile famiglia di Brescia, stabilitasi in Finale nel secolo decimo quarto, probabilmente con un Guido, che ne fu podestà nell'anno 1330. La casata ha dato alla patria priori e consiglieri: Niccolò (1360), Guido, Bartolomeo, Pietro (1372). Altre cariche civile e militari di qualche rilievo furono occupate da questa famiglia che si imparentò con le principali del paese. Vanno ancora ricordati: Bartolomeo, Riformatore degli Statuti patrii (1419); Albertino, Capitano (1425); altro Bartolomeo, Provveditore Ducale (1655); Liborio, medico e filosofo, professore nell'Ateneo Ferrarese (1681); Francesco, Arciprete del Finale e Canonico della Cattedrale di Ferrara (morto 1731); Pier Giacomo, Canonico della Cattedrale di Ferrara (1770). Giovanni ed il Ten. Pietro ebbero la concessione del titolo di Nobile del Finale per sé e per i loro discendenti maschi da maschi, dalla comunità del Finale, rispettivamente il 27 gennaio 1819 ed il 22 dicembre 1820.
