Nobili di parte geremea, assunti quattro volte al consolato nel XII secolo. Nel 1252 rappresentarono il Comune di Bologna al parlamento di Brescia convocato per opporsi al Re Corrado che era intento a rivendicare il regno di Napoli. Alcuni individui di questa casa militarono in Palestina, ed in favore dei Fiorentini e dei Padovani. Ausilitto, pretore della montagna, nel 1212 sottomise la Sambuca. Nel 1193 si opposero a Gerardo Vescovo ed a' suoi fautori che tramavano ridurre Bologna nella soggezione imperiale, perlochè, appiccatasi una mischia, Ausilitto rimase ucciso entro il palazzo del Comune, e le sue case furono arse e saccheggiate. Lippo Oseletti fu uno dei 38, i quali banditi e dichiarati lupi rapaci nel 1283, furono poi condannati nel 1289 al bando perpetuo, alla confisca de' beni e alla distruzione delle case, torri e fortezze.
