Die alte Familie von Kotor in Dalmatien, eines der dreizehn Häuser des Adelsrates, wurde von der Venezianischen Republik anerkannt, als sie die Einweihung dieser Stadt annahm. Der Ducale Mocenigo vom 28. April 1421 schreibt den Familienmitgliedern den Adelstitel zu und seit 1333 gehören sie dem Adel von Ragusa an, wo sie sich auszeichneten. Der König von Frankreich erlaubte dieser Familie, die Lilie dem Wappen hinzuzufügen. Die Familienmitglieder bekleideten Positionen von Botschaftern, Admiralen, Kapitänen, Kammerherren, Beratern, Bischöfen und Prälaten, die immer als edel qualifiziert waren und manchmal zählen. Stefano starb 1762 als Generalsergeant im Dienst des Ven. Rep. Direkt von ihm beschrieben, der mit dem Ministerialdekret vom 20. Mai 1905 und 25. September 1904 die Anerkennung des Adels erhielt: Gustavo, geboren am 3. Dezember 1877, von Pietro und di Maria Pierina Parietti, verheiratet mit Maria Massa, von der: 1. Maria Luisa, geboren 1910; 2. Pietro, geboren 1914; 3. Corrado geboren 1919.
