Prato family that at the first implementation of the law on nobility of 1750, was already divided into several distinct branches with the indication of the district where they lived. I) B. of the SS. Trinity'. They had the following Gonfalonieri: Raffaello di Antonio in 1646; Francesco di Raffaello in 1688; Antonio di Francesco in 1727; Simone and Francesco in 1750; Giuseppe di Antonio in 1751. They were ascribed to the Nobility of Prato by decree of 4 March 1765 in the person of Antonio di Francesco and brothers. Descendants of Gino Antonio and Vito Antonio di Giuseppe, of Antonio. B. of Piazza degli innocenti. Even this branch was enabled to the supreme honor of the gonfalonierato until 1568 in the person of Gino di Vito. He obtained the inscription to the nobility of Prato with decree of 4 March 1765 in the person of Clemente di Antonio. a) Descendants

D'oro, all'albero di pino al naturale, fruttifero del campo, nodrito su un monte di sei (o tre) cime di verde e attraversato al tronco da un cane di nero sedente (o passante) sul monte, collarinato e guinzagliato di rosso al tronco dell'albero. Alias. Con il capo di S.Stefano.

Blasone della famiglia Bonamici o Buonamici in Prato e Firenze; fonte: "Raccolta Ceramelli Papiani" custodita presso l'archivio di stato di Firenze fasc. 794. Note: Si trova anche la forma «Bonamici» e la specificazione «delle Carceri», dalla zona di residenza a Prato. Diversi componenti la famiglia furono ammessi alla nobiltà di Prato tra il 1761 e il 1794; nel 1789 il cavaliere Francesco di Piero Bonamici fu ammesso al patriziato fiorentino nel 1789. Il capo di Santo Stefano venne inalberato per la prima volta da Buonamico Buonamici, nominato cavaliere nel 1571.

Blasone della famiglia Bonamici in Firenze, Santo Spirito, Nicchio e Firenze, Santa Croce, Carro; fonte: "Raccolta Ceramelli Papiani" custodita presso l'archivio di stato di Firenze fasc. 795. Note: Altra forma del cognome: «Bonamici». Lo stemma è uguale a quello del fasc. 794, ma non si tratta della stessa famiglia. Secondo il Sebregondi (cfr.), sono originari di Volterra; Giusto di Vincenzo Bonamici, maestro di grammatica, ottenne la cittadinanza fiorentina nel 1592; la famiglia fu poi reintegrata nella cittadinanza fiorentina nel 1734. Recano talvolta il cognome agnatizio «del Piero» oppure, più probabilmente, «del Pino», derivato dalla figura dello stemma.
