Ancients in Pinerolo, where in the fourteenth century they were among the wool weavers: Giovanni (died 2 December 1582), by Giovanni Michele, was invested with a portion of Bibiana on 25 March 1560; he purchased Famolasco in 1562 from the Della Riva di Vigone. The grandson Maurizio (died Buriasco, 25 November 1630), of Gerolamo, who was a chamber auditor, bought Buriasco on 28 July 1615, a feud erected in committee on 25 October 1615. The last of this family was Count Maurizio (born Turin, 5 February 1854, died there, September 1928), by Enrico, a characteristic figure of an old man with a pigtail well known to the Turinese. The presence of the motto in the documented bibliography of the family confirms the ancestral nobility of the family.
