Famiglia originaria di Cattaro, dove sino dal 1721 appartenne a quel nobile Consiglio. In causa dei distinti servigii resi alla Repubblico Veneta il Senato con Decreto 12 maggio 1703 accordò la dignità ereditaria di Conte al Cavalier Giovanni B., a cui nell'anno precedente, per sue benemerenze, quella Suprema Autorità concesso aveva feudale investitura di una vasta tenuta per l'addietro condotta ad affittanza. Fu confermata la nobiltà con Sovrana Risoluzione 15 maggio 1825. Si ricordano: Giovanni Battista Vincenzo del fu Stanislao, nato il 15 agosto 1734, ammogliatosi nel 1769 colla sig. Girolama contessa Bisanti. Morto nel 1825; i di loro figli Niccolò, nato il 12 novembre 1774, passato in matrimonio colla nobil sig. Eleonora Valerj; i di loro figli Teresa Girolama Delfina, nata il 28 dicembre 1821, Metilde Elisabetta Maria, nata il 26 ottobre 1823; Stanislao, nato il 24 aprile 1780, domiciliato a Cattaro.
