Famiglia caglairitana di origine catalana le cui notizie risalgono al secolo XV. Nel 1410 un Raimondo fu amministratore delle rendite reali; suo figlio Tommaso fu consigliere del castello. Ametà del secolo la famiglia si divise in due rami: uno continuò a risiedere a Cagliari dove un Giovanni fu consigliere capo nel 1542; questo ramo si estinse nel corso del sec. XVI. L'altro ramo si trasferì ad Alghero deve un Michele, chenel 1478 fu autorizzato alla guerra da corsa con due galere di sua proprietà, sposò una Zatrillas. I figli di Michele diedero vita a due diversi rami: Da Francesco discese il ramo che continuò a risiedere ad Alghero dove si estinse alla fine del secolo XVI. Da Ponzio, che continuò ad avere relazioni amichevoli e di interesse con gli Zatrillas, discese il ramo che si stabilì nuovamente a Cagliari coni suoi nipoti agli inizi del Seicento. La famiglia si estinse
