Chatard (1200), mourut en Palestine; Géraud son frère est dit chevalier de l'ordre du Temple en 1234: Filiation: Guinet tué à la bataille de Poitiers (1356). Branches en Gévaudan, Auvergne, Forez, Bourbonnais. Deux chevaliers templiers (1262); un grand prieur, des comandeurs et chevaliers de l'ordre de St-Jean de Jérusalem (1395); des gouverneurs et commandants pour le roi en Rouergue, Quercy, Cévennes; divers officiers dont: Michel-Marie-Annet d'Ombret écuyer seigneur d'Ombret, de Recoux, près Saugues, officier de cavalerie, chevalier de St-Louis, né en 1728, lequel épousa en 1760, à Bordeaux, Catherine-Jacquette de Rozan, d'où une fille unique de cette maison: Victor est porté sur la liste des émigrés de la Haute-Loire; un autre le comte de Buisson de Douzon, fut en 1789 député de la noblesse du Bourbonnais.
