Antica ed assai nobile famiglia di Cassine, detta Buzzi o, più correttamente, Buzzi Langhi, passata, poi, in Alessandria ed in Torino. Gaudenzio, capitano di milizie, fu padre di Giuseppe, il quale sposò, ad Alessandria, il 28 ottobre 1828, Maria Felicita Moscheni, sorella di Francesco, ultimo marchese di Bergamasco. Poiché le investiture di Bergamasco erano per maschi e una femmina, Maria Felicita portò in casa l'eredità nobiliare, che fu riconosciuta ai figli (escluso il predicato di Bergamasco) per LL. PP. di R. Assenso 28 gennaio 1892. Giuseppe, di Francesco, di Giuseppe, di Gaudenzio. Fratelli: Pio, Alessandro, Angelo. La famiglia levò per arme. D'argento al castello al naturale, torricellato di due, aperto e finestrato del campo, accompagnato in capo da una stella d'oro. Alias.
