Es la segunda línea de la familia homónima de la Toscana que tomó el segundo apellido en homenaje a la tradición que deriva la C. de los antiguos condes de Ranghieri. Giuliano di Stefano, comandante de la Corona de Italia, luchó por su patria en 1859 y en 66, ocupó varios cargos públicos, promovió importantes empresas y murió en 1923. Obtuvo el reconocimiento del título de patricio de Cesena para hombres con Decreto Ministerial 22 de agosto de 1899; posteriormente, a su favor y sus descendientes varones primogénitos, un Real Decreto del 26 de enero de 1922 renovó el título de título que ya disfrutaba la familia, pero despojado del predicado. De él, se casó con la boloñesa Emma Gotti, la vida que Giulio nació en Bolonia en 1896, quien hace algunos años mudó su hogar a Reggello, y tiene dos hijos gemelos, Giorgio y Perla.
