O Conselho Heráldico, com Decreto Ministerial de 24 de março de 1927 em V., assinado por SE Mussolini, declarou o título de: Conde dos castelos de Roccia Leonella e Montegrino e deve ser inscrito no livro de ouro heráldico do Entidades morais. Esse senhorio conjugal tem origens muito antigas. Os analistas falam disso como existindo antes das 1000, também pelo fato de lembrarmos que esses castelos foram dados em enfiseusis em 1107, à poderosa e nobre família dos condados Brancaleoni de Piobbico. Assim, considerando que o cânone era o habitual e que a enfiseus durava três gerações, pode-se dizer que estamos indo antes das 1000. No arquivo capitular, há outra investidura de Brancaleoni, renovada em 1317. O castelo de Rocca Leonella foi elevado no topo de uma rocha, no sopé do maciço do Monte Nerone, em direção a Cagli. A de Montegrino, ou como anteriormente foi dito sobre Monte Guerino,
