Annibale delle Galci, over C., cavalier Milanese, venne in Sicilia con Fulvio Monte, Luca Negri, e Pietro Orombelli, tutti gentil'huomini della medesma Città, con i quali s'assentò à serviggi del Rè Federico II, dal quale in ricompensa di quelli, hebbe Annibale la Baronia del castello, e feudo di San Calogero nel tenitorio Leontino; Fulvio, il feudo di Pancali, e Luca, il feudo del Pozzo nel medesmo Tenitorio, perloche si fermarono in Sicilia, de' quali Annibale delli C. si casò in Messina con la figlia di Pirro Galifi cavalier di quella Città, con la quale procreò Leone, ed Ansaldo delli C., che per seguire i Palici, gli fù dal Duca Giovanni di Randazzo, tutore del Rè Lodovico, tolto il peterno feudo, per lo quale poscia Annibale, figlio del predetto Ansaldo, dal Rè Martino ottenne la Castellania di Matagrifone.
