Die Campanile-Familie ist sehr alt, ursprünglich und Patrizier der Stadt Ravello, wo sie seit 1273 mit dem Titel eines Vaters ausgezeichnet wurde und wo sie so reich war, dass sie König Karl I. von Anjou Geld verlieh, wurde sie auch zu den Adelsfamilien der Stadt gezählt Stadt Maiuri und Cava. Nachdem sie nach Neapel verpflanzt worden war, wurde sie berühmter für herausragende Ämter und Würde und dafür, dass sie 1585 in der Person von Aurelio, dem Präsidenten der königlichen Kammer der Zusammenfassung, zum Adel von Trani auf dem Sitz des Erzbistums zusammengefasst worden war. Es gehörte zu dieser Familie Filiberto, klarer Autor des Buches "Waffen oder Abzeichen der Adligen. Neapel 1613". Nicola, Abt von S. Trifone in Ravello, wurde 1455 zum Bischof dieser Stadt gewählt. Rainaldo war 1500 Rational der königlichen Kammer; Aurelio war ein Rechtsberater von großem Geld und Präsident der Königlichen Kammer der Zusammenfassung und versammelte sich zum
