En 1647 la familia C. fue declarada digna de ser admitida en los oficios comunitarios de las artes mayores por los Priores y Capitanes de la ciudad de Pescia, en consideración a "sus cualidades, facultades, civilización, parentesco y tratamientos", y Dioneo, di Vincenzo, al año siguiente se sacó de la bolsa de los señores de la fiesta de S. Dorotea, en 1650 de la de los Visitadores de las fronteras. el hijo de Dioneo, Juan Vincenzo, fue uno de los Priores en 1677, cargo sostenido luego, en 1719, por Paolo Antonio, de Giov. Vincenzo, y en 1751 por Giov. Vincenzo, de Paolo Antonio. La familia C. fue adscrita a la nobleza de Pescia por decreto del 27 de enero de 1777. La familia está inscrita genéricamente en la Lista Uff. Cabeza. Ital. de 1922, con el título de Nobile di Pescia (mf.) en la persona de los Descendientes de Giov.
