Alfonso, que contrajo matrimonio con Doña María Arozena Grondona, de la ilustre familia Arozena de Santa Cruz de la Palma. De este matrimonio fue hijo Don Ignacio C. Arozena, que casó con Doña María de los Angeles de Río Bethencourt, de cuyo enlace nació el 10 de junio de 1929, Don Jorge C. de Río, que está casado con Doña Julia Brosa Quintana, nacida el 6 de febrero de 1934. Don Jorge C. ocupa en la actualildad el cargo de Presidente del Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria. Otra casa muy antigua. Antigua y noble familia originaria de Perpiñán y en Cataluña.
