Crollalanza schreibt, dass Giustamente 1089 Graf von Vimercate war; Pinamonte war 1163 Herr der Rocca di Agrucci; Ottavio 1080 Bischof von Bergamo; Acherio Führer der Mailänder Armee im Jahre 1150; und Ballolo Dekurion von Mailand im Jahr 1380. Filippo Maria Visconti im Jahr 1412 erklärte die Capitani Familie von Vimercate Adel. Gregorio Bischof von Trapezunt im Jahr 1461. Spreti schreibt, dass der Vorfahr ein Pinamonte der Herren von Vimercate im XII Jahrhundert ist. Ein zeitgenössischer Guido war Bürgermeister von Bologna und Konsul von Mailand. Die Familie wurde 1412 von Herzog Filippo Maria Visconti zum Adligen erklärt.
