Giovanni podestà von Perugia im Jahr 1223 und Giacomo Senator von Rom im Jahr 1254. Cencio camerario spricht von einem Romanus Capoccius Romanorum Konsul im Jahr 1221. Giovan-Vincenzo schrieb die Geschichte seiner Familie. Ein Zweig der Capucci à fiorito in Viterbo, aus dem der Zisterziensermönch Raniero und später der von Innocenzo III. Geschaffene Kardinal hervorgingen. Anderer Zweig. Alte Familie ursprünglich aus Rom. Nicolò und Pietro schufen Kardinäle der SR Chiesa, die erste von Clemente VI und die andere von Innocenzo IV. Eine andere Familie hob ihre Waffen. Aus Blau mit drei Bändern, das erste und dritte aus Gold und die Hälfte aus Silber, beladen mit drei roten Rosen.
