Antigua y noble familia siciliana de Messina llamada Caprì, Crapì, Capri o, según el heraldista Crollalanza, también Collo Capra. En la mastra nobile de Mollica también encontramos un fra Giovanni (años 1590 y 1591) y un messer Giovan Battista (años 1596 y 1602). Un Tommaso, por otro lado, parece haber sido gobernador de la Tavola pecuniaria de Messina en 1612-13, cargo que ocupó en el año 1630-31 un tal Francesco; a Giovan Domenico fue juez de la corte estrategica de Messina en 1620-21 y senador de esa ciudad en 1632-33.
