Alte und sehr edle piemontesische Familie, ursprünglich aus Bene, aber in Fossano, bekannt als Carasso, Carassotto oder früher Carrozza, die sich über die Jahrhunderte in verschiedenen Regionen Italiens ausbreitete. Das Haus ist mit dem Titel Marchesi del Villar aus dem Jahr 1744 und Conti di Pralormo aus dem Jahr 1680 geschmückt.
