Los miembros de esta familia provienen de la rama de Cantù, Giovanni Battista (1723-1774), médico de gran reputación con su hermano Carlo Barnaba (nacido en 1717), canónigo de la Colegiata de S. Paolo en Cantù, hombre muy erudito, por decreto del 8 de julio de 1772 del Tribunal de Heraldos de las IR obtuvo el reconocimiento de la antigua nobleza de su familia Giulio Cesare (1769-1828) y Carlo Barnaba (1773-1851), hijos del mencionado Giovanni Battista se mencionan en las listas nobiliarias de 1828 y 1840. La bibliografía de esta familia es citada por el marqués Vittorio Spreti, en su Enciclopedia Storico-Nobiliare Italiana impresa en Milán en 1936. Recopilación de manuscritos de contenido heráldico y noble-genealógico, entre bibliotecas y en numerosos archivos públicos y privados. . Los testimonios y documentos recabados para la formación de la obra en mención fueron transmitidos por la propia familia. Como resulta de la Revista Heráldica
