Les membres de cette famille dérivent de la branche de Cantù, Giovanni Battista (1723-1774), médecin de grande réputation avec son frère Carlo Barnaba (né en 1717), chanoine de la Collégiale de S. Paolo à Cantù, homme très érudit, par décret du 8 juillet 1772 du Tribunal IR des hérauts, il obtint la reconnaissance de l'ancienne noblesse de sa famille Giulio Cesare (1769-1828) et Carlo Barnaba (1773-1851), les fils du susmentionné Giovanni Battista sont mentionnés dans les listes nobles de 1828 et 1840. La bibliographie de cette famille est mentionnée par le marquis Vittorio Spreti, dans son Enciclopedia Storico-Nobiliare Italiana imprimée à Milan en 1936. Collecte de manuscrits de contenu héraldique et noble-généalogique, parmi les bibliothèques et dans de nombreuses archives publiques et privées .
