Nel secolo XVII vivevano i tre fratelli: Giovanni, Gesuita, autore della "Regia oratoria pei fanciulli", di lui parla il tira boschi nella "Biblioteca Modenese"; Giacomo, notaio collegiato ed archivista del duca di Modena, Rinaldo I; Emerenzio-Benedetto, cancelliere del Senato di Reggio, e notaio collegiato, morì nel 1708. Lasciò alle stampe un "Formularium istrumentorum". Di lui parla il Tiraboschi nella "Biblioteca Modenese"; altro Emerenzio-Benedetto, di Giacomo, vivente nel 1763, fu pure notaio; consigliere del supremo consiglio e ministro delle finanze del duca di Modena Ercole III di Este. Dal primo Emerenzio-Benedetto nacquero, oltre ad una figlia, monaca nel, "Corpus domini"; Filippo, canonico della basilica di S.Prospero, che fabbricò la casa in Via Alberelli, poscia proprietà Tirelli. Pietr-Antonio, nobile reggiano, giureconsulto collegiato, consigliere di stato e fattor generale del duca Francesco III d'Este, per cui nel 1774, dimorava in Modena. Antonio, valente medico, già morto nel 1787, che ebbe 5 figli: Rosa,
