Es ist ein Zweig der Familie Visconti, der den Hotels von Marri und Serra und dem anderen von Usodimare zugeschrieben wird. Drei waren Konsuln der Gemeinde und vier der Placiti. Jona schwor 1157 die Vereinbarungen mit dem König von Sizilien und 1188 den Frieden zwischen Genua und Pisa; Baldicione kaufte ein Adelsland in Cogorno und war Botschafter bei Federigo Barbarossa.
