Famiglia napolitana riconosciuta Nobile con D. P. del 16 maggi 1926 in persona di Filomeno e dei suoi discendenti per ambo i sessi. Sono iscritti nel Libro d'Oro della Nobiltá Italiana e nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobile Italiano del 1933, col titolo di Nobile (maschi e femmine) in virtú del sopracitato Decreto: Filomeno, di Vincenzo (nato 25 maggio 1782) e di Maria Pacciocchi; nato a Baiano (Napoli) il 16 marzo 1840, sposato 15 marzo 1894 con Amallia de Lieto. Figli: Vincenzo, nato a Napoli 23 agosto 1898; Giuseppe, nato ivi 30 luglio 1903. Tali sono i principii, che da sopracitati Autori si diedero a questa famiglia, ma per esser questo fatto assai remoto, e d'historia molto lontana, lasciamo perciò a più eruditi delle sacre antichità, e dell'historie l'investigarne il suo certo principio.
