Eine alte und adelige Familie von klarer und angestammter Tugend, die ursprünglich aus Lucera stammte, wo sie einen Teil des Territoriums besaß, gab sich den Adligen des Blutes hin. Er besaß einige Lehen, trug die Kleidung Maltas und genoss den Titel des Herzogs von San Nicandro. Anderer Zweig. Die alte Familie von Solofra, deren Nachrichten bis in die Mitte des 14. Jahrhunderts zurückreichen, als Niccolò sich unter den Solofraniern traf, die an den Revolten des Solofran des 14. Jahrhunderts teilnahmen. Im fünfzehnten Jahrhundert lebte die Familie in Canale.
