Pare che i membri della famiglia discendano da un Apollonio "deRociis" di Bagnara, vivente nel XVI secolo; donde il cognome Rocci che essi portarono prima dell'attuale. Il dott. Tullio di Giov. Battista fu fatto cittadino d'Imola l'anno 1547, e Baldassarre suo figlio entrò il 21 maggio 1592 a far parte del Consiglio generale, ove poi ininterrottamente sedettero anche i suoi successori; il che costituisce titolo pel patriziato di Imola. Questa famiglia, che fu sempre considerata come una delle principali della città s'imparentò con altre case nobili della Romagna e diede alla patria vari cospicui soggetti. Ora vive a Bologna l'avv. comm. Antonio d'Enrico, già presidente della Deputazione provinciale e odierno vice podestà, con la figlia Serena. A lui e ai suoi discendenti maschi è stato riconosciuto il titolo di patrizio d'Imola con decreto di S.E. il Capo del Governo in data 11 agosto 1928.
